You had your 2 month appointment with the doctor and you did great! You passed all your test and the doctor said you are right on track. You were in the 50% for height, 23% in weight and 60% in head circumference. You are built like your daddy :)
You broke our heart when you had your 2 month shots. You were happy and smiling the whole doctor appointment until the end when the nurse came in to stick you a couple times. You let out the worse sound your daddy and I have ever heard! We never want to hear that cry again, but we are sure we probably will next time you have shots. Daddy and I both teared up and wanted to stop you from crying right away so we sat in the room and let you eat a little to make you feel better.
We have found out that you love to sit in your swing and watch TV to go to sleep or to be rocked to sleep. You also have really become fond of your pacifier. You are starting to grab ahold of stuff like mommy's shirt and your pacifier.
Your are doing so good at eating and sleeping. You are great at latching and barely need any assistance anymore. You sleep in 3 hour intervals at night with one interval for 4-5 hours. You also only eat on one side during each feeding during the night.
We have made 2 trips home (Charleston, IL) since you were born. You did amazing on both of trips. We only had to feed you once during the 7 hour journey. The car ride keeps you asleep pretty well. We did get stuck in traffic in Chicago for 2 hours the second trip home and you were not very fond of it because we stopped moving but you still were very patient.
You are growing so fast and your dad and I are trying to take in everything. Your little personality is coming in and it is wonderful. You are the cutest sweetest baby I have ever been around, and I'm not just saying that because I am your mom :) I hope you stay this happy as you grow and never go through the terrible twos. We Love you!
