1 Month Old

 I can not believe you are one month old! It has flown by. You are learning new things everyday and surprise me with what you can do. You are getting super strong and are trying to sit up all by yourself. You are very curious and want to look around at everything.

You are also very spoiled already :) you want to be held when you sleep. I have to really make sure you are asleep before I lay you in your bassinet or else you will pop your eyes back open and stay awake to make sure I am holding you. There has been many nights that I have had to hold you all night because you kept catching me trying to lay you down.

You are breastfeeding so well and I am loving every minute of it. You are smiling all the time and starting to make a lot more cooing sounds. You love us to sing to you and your favorite song is "Part of Your World" even though daddy doesn't think I should sing it to you. 

 You love when daddy makes different animal sounds to you or sings guitar solos to you. You have tried to imitate some of his funny faces too. You make us laugh all the time when u are being all cute and sweet and then let out a very loud toot. 

The dogs are very curious about you. They always want to sniff you and see what you are doing. Mischa sleeps at our door at night ever since you were born. She also keeps her eye on you at all times. She is being a great big sister and I think you will love having her there as you grow up. Bo and Molli stay away because they are still unsure about you. They will warm up to you though and start to love you too. 

You are a great baby. We have been able to take you out to eat many times with us and you are a perfect angel. The only time that you cry is if you are hungry or want your pacifier. You love looking at yourself in the mirror while we change your diaper and you also love baths! Dad and I have become pros at changing you and bathing you without getting peed on. The first week we got peed on everyday :)

We are going on our first road trip this weekend to go back home to visit family. So far you do really good in the car but we will get the real test this weekend. We are prepared for this to be a long trip but hopefully you eat and sleep good so we don't have to make many stops :)

I can not wait to watch you grow and learn new things everyday! Daddy and I love you so much and are very blessed to have you in our lives. We hope as you grow up that you will still allow us to kiss you as much as we kiss and love on you now, if not we will still always try :)
