So I started a new thing to help motivate me to lose weight. I have seen this on pinterest and they used marbles but thats not me so I decided to use seashells.
It also reminds me of the beach and swimsuit season coming up! What you do is in one jar there is a seashell for every pound you want to lose and then the other jar has what you have to go. As you can see I have a lot to go! lol I put it on my TV stand so when I am at home watching TV it is a constant reminder to not do some mindless eating. I hope this works!
Yesterday I also started Couch to 5K. It is an app you can get on you phone or iPod and it is for beginner runners. It tells you when to walk and when to run. Once you have finished the program you are suppose to be able to run a 5K in 30 mins.
Jeff and I have always wanted to try to run in some kind of event so we are doing this together in hopes that we will be able to someday run a 5K or half marathon or even a full marathon! We will see!
