Getting Crafty

Lately I have started to crochet. I learned how to crochet many years ago but just recently decided to start again. I am super excited because I have always wanted to make a blanket but never had enough time. Now that I sit around at home all day I figure there is no better time then now!


I like this color :)


I have also been watching YouTube videos to learn how to different stitches to be a little more fancy. I am not good enough to do a blanket in different patterns yet so I am just sticking with the standard stitch right now. I have been working on it for 2 days straight and I have gotten about 1/4 of it done! It is going to be a very small blanket lol. I hope to show you the whole blanket soon!

    I love to crochet, but never learned how to read a pattern. I've heard that youtube is a great tool for learning. I got a video for Christmas...they sell them at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc. I just learned the Honeycomb stitch and did a whole baby blanket with it. Good Luck!
