Second Day in Green Bay!

So yesterday was my second day in Green Bay.  I did a lot more driving around yesterday!  Jeff went driving with me in the morning and I told him I couldn't find any water so we were on a mission to find it and we did!

After we found the bay we decided to taste some Wisconsin cheese!  We went to this place called Nala's Fromagerie!  The guy was super nice and he let us try like 5 different cheeses.  We tried 2 kinds of Chedder, 1 Sandwich cheese, 1 mixed cheese of like parmesan and chedder and jeff and ours favorite Gouda!   The guy had so many choices and said we can come back everyday if we wanted to try more cheese :)

On our way back to the hotel we passed this cute farm and of course when I took the picture Jeff hit a bump and the scented tree in my car got in the picture lol.

We drove over the pretty river!

We decided to go to Five guys for Lunch!  We had been there once before in Florida but we just got a drink so we were super excited to try the food!

Wow this place is expensive!  This is just for my food!

Jeff waiting for our food!

Ok so I figured out why it was so expensive!  This is the burger I apparently ordered!!  It is a super huge double cheeseburger.  This is their normal size burger.  You can order a small burger but I thought that was a kids burger but apparently its their single cheese burger!

This is what i saw when I opened up my bag!  They give you like a pound of fries and this was a small!!!  I had to dig down to find my burger lol.

Here is my whole meal except for the full bag of fries also behind the cup of fries!
So as you can probably guess I threw away about 3/4 of my meal!!  I was kinda really sad because it was the most AMAZING burger I have ever had but our hotel does not have a refrigerator :(

After Lunch I dropped of Jeff at work and then went back to the hotel.  Below is a picture of what is on the elevator door and I look at everyday lol.  I just thought it was cute.

When I got back to the hotel I looked up a few houses to drive by and see if I liked them. Below are a few I drove by.

doesn't look very nice...

was on a busy road ( notice the barely getting a pic)

this place was in a good neighbor hood but not very pretty lol

This is a duplex and its cute but won't allow my dogs :(

After looking at some houses I pulled into this place to program my GPS to take me back to the hotel.  I don't know what this place is but it is HUGE!!

I went back to the hotel about 3 and literally did nothing till 9 because it was going to storm.  I waited and waited for the rain and it showed on the radar that is was raining but i saw no rain at the hotel.  At 7:30 it said that there was a Tornado Warning and i do not like storms!  I just stayed in the room and prayed that it passed quickly and then at 8 it said the warning was over!!  It got to like 8:30 and it decided to pour down rain and lightning a ton right before I had to go get Jeff from work.

Once I picked up Jeff  we decided to go to this place across the street from our hotel called Grazies!  It was really good!

 Yum bread and Olive oil

We ordered cheese curds and they were soooo GOOD!!

Jeff and I decided to order a Basil Pesto that was also super good!

All together yesterday was a good day for eating but that was about it lol.  Hopefully today will be a better day!  I am getting use to Green Bay and think I will really like it up here!

  3. Yep, Farm and Fleet is Rural King. My husband is from Wisconsin. I LOVE IT up there, and in all honesty I would probably prefer being in Wisconsin to where we ended up (Decatur). My husband and I were relocated to New Jersey the first 4 years of our marriage...God has a way, you just have to be patient and let him work. We spend most of our time in Eau Claire but I've heard good things about Green Bay. It's all about the adventure!

  4. That cheeseburger looks soooo good! Don't worry so much about how the houses look on the outside. You can always fix up the inside really cute. You should of seen the house in Carbondale before they worked on it. It was beyond bad.
