New Found Love!

Since I was little I always wanted horses.  My dad grew up with horses and I always asked him why we didn't have horses.  Did he not like them?  He just kept telling me they are hard work and expensive, which is true, so i didn't ask anymore.  Then we moved out into the country and he had a different tone.  We were in the car and I was talking about how I want 8 kids and he was like well how about I get you horses instead.  I was shocked and thought he was kidding so I was like "ya okay!"  He told my mom to go by the guys house that had the horses so we could talk to him.  I still did not believe him at this point. I did not believe him until we actually pulled in and told him we wanted them!  We ended up getting two horses that are super pretty and sooo sweet!  Their names are Poco and BJ and they are my new babies :)

We have been riding the horses and loving it!  They have not been rode for a long time so they need some work but they are pretty good!  Tonight was funny because BJ did not want to walk around when my dad was riding him so i walked along the fence and he followed me!  It was actually really sweet that he wanted to follow me around everywhere, he must know I'm the one that gives him treats :)

It was a great night for riding!  I didn't get to ride because I just got my toes done and they weren't dry enough to put my cowboy boots on, maybe tomorrow!!
